Walrus Audio ERAS Five-State High-Gain Distortion

This is an awesome piece of kit! If you dial it in correctly it's basically a BOSS DS-1, Pro Co Rat, MXR M75, Fender Pugilist and many more, all in one multi-clipping stomp. The Ace in the Hole here is the BLEND control : which allows you to add as much or as little of your clean guitar tone into the gain mix, so either retaining an element of guitar definition and clarity, or removing all trace of your clean sound and pushing absolute decimation! Let me be clear, it doesn't do Fuzz (Big Muff style pedals), it doesn't do "transparent overdrive" (Klon, Tumnus, ODR-1, TS808 etc) and it doesn't do Shred Metal (BOSS MT-2), but it is the most versatile Mid-Hi Gain distortion pedal I've had the fortune to come across (and I have over 80 various guitar pedals in my collection). Great Service from BAX as usual, but that can't be said about UK ParcelForce, who mis-delivered the package to 2 different addresses before I finally got it 9 days later!
