Guild a donné à la Starfire I DC un nombre remarquable de mises à jour bienvenues et lui a également donné une place de choix dans sa série Newark St. Collection qui propose des instruments de haute qualité à un prix attractif. Une excellente nouvelle pour les amateurs de guitares hollow body minces à simple pan coupé ! La guitare a d'abord reçu un manche en Modern Thin U, comme son nom l’indique aminci et modernisé, afin de proposer des sensations de jeu très douces.
Micros humbuckers HB-2
Les nouveaux humbuckers HB-2 offrent toujours le son traditionnel des micros doubles avec un peu plus de mordant pour un timbre qui se rapproche de ce que vous avez probablement déjà entendu dans la musique des années 1950 et 1960. De plus, la fonctionnalité push / pull de cette Guild Starfire vous donne accès à pas moins de cinq autres sons supplémentaires pour colorer vos parties de guitare en fonction de vos goûts et besoins. Le chevalet Tune-O-Matic et le nouveau chevalet fixe Stopbar Tailpiece confèrent également à cette guitare archtop une stabilité supplémentaire et une meilleure intonation.

A fabulous guitar, great action, well made, very versatile range of sounds with the coil tap function on both pickups. Very comfortable to wear for playing. I'd recommend an angled jack lead into the guitar output as a straight jack tends to get in the way. There are quite a few semi acoustics at this price point, but in my opinion this one is the best.
