The slim form of the Line 6 HX Stomp hides a professional guitar processor inside the convenience of a stompbox-style interface. It offers a huge range of amps, cabs and effects that can be used to weave and colour your very own sound. Despite the solid casing, this multi-effects pedal is incredibly flexible and can be used in a number of ways: as a straight-up stompbox, a touring rig, a bass rig, a tone expander or even an audio interface. It grants you access to up to six amp, cab, effect and IR blocks at the same time, giving you plenty of space to play. The built-in looper is just yet another welcome treat as well.

The HX Stomp: A Few Steps Ahead

This Line 6 conception can be seamlessly integrated into any setup including a standard amplifier, active monitor, speaker cabinets, or even as a hybrid setup using an amplifier and a direct output. Used as part of an old-school amp + pedals rig, this stompbox comes into its own when hooked up via the 4-cable method, where the output signal is sent by a stereo jack, and the returning signal is sent by two mono jacks. As you'd expect, the HX Stomp offers a Helix-grade sound for every imaginable situation since it comes loaded with the same HX and DSP tech that you'd find filling the guts of any larger Helix based multi-effects unit. So here, you're getting the whole Helix library which starts with more than 300 effects, amplifiers, and speaker cabinet simulations, and this is before you even add the sound of the legendary DL-4 and the entire M-Series.
