Fully primed to voice everything from electric blues to jazz, soul and sweet, medium-gain classic rock, this supreme D'Angelico offering boasts a laminated maple body bound to a stable set-in five-piece maple and walnut neck, and to eliminate feedback, a solid centre-block has been glued and sandwiched between the archtop and back. Deluxe hardshell case included.

The D'Angelico Deluxe SS: Fifties PAF & Single-Coil Sound

Throwing things all the way back to the fifties, D'Angelico has mounted a tight pair of Antiquity Retrospec humbuckers that deliver sweet PAF-style output, and while the electronics layout looks fairly standard, the push-pull tone pots can be popped to split the double-coils and fire off a full spectrum of single-coil sounds. In terms of playability, the neck has been given the snug, friendly and familiar feel of a C-profile carve while stable and reliable tuning is assured by a set of Grover 509 Super Rotomatic locking tuners, a TUSQ nut, and a Tune-O-Matic bridge coupled with the irresistible style of a Deco-inspired Stairstep tailpiece.
