Ovation CE4412-5 Celebrity Elite Mid Depth Black guitare électro-acoustique folk 12 cordes
I love 12 strings but unfortunately not all 12 strings love me. Having small hands don't help at all. I have tried many over the years and the only one I can really get on with is my Rickenbacker 330/12. I did have a 12 saddle bridge and a narrow spaced nut fitted to it and it is really just as easy as a 6 string to play.
As for acoustic 12s, I have tried many. I have a Ovation 6 string which is lovely to play so I thought I would take a chance on this gorgeous looking 12. I have to say out of the box it was brilliant. No setting up required, just tuning with the inbuilt kit, great. How does it play? Amazingly well. It really is a cracker of a guitar for the price tag, Chinese or not (it may have a chip in it that reports my playing back to Bejiing) it is simply great to play.
Unplugged it has that lovely Ovation tone, plugged in is just as good too. The finish is super, I just adore the colour.
Great to do the biz with Bax Music too, so easy to order and the price (going for a song) undercut everyone else.
