This 16-inch Raw Bell Crash from Sabian's AA series has an intense sound that cuts right through the mix. While it's a traditional thin crash, it is remarkably robust and can take quite a beating, just like other crashes in the AA series. This is a very musical crash that is also available in an 18-inch model.
AA 16" Raw Bell Crash: a winner
The inspired product specialists at Sabian actually design far more cymbals than they can produce each year. So they get drummers in the US and Europe to play a select few of these prototype cymbals and put sound clips of them on their website, so that drummers from all over the world can check them out and vote for the ones they like best. The Sabian AA 16-inch Raw Bell Crash received a lot of votes, and eventually came out on top!
