Le Ferrofish Pulse 8 AE est un excellent convertisseur ADAT AD/DA. Etendez votre interface audio avec huit entrées et sorties supplémentaires. Le Pulse 8 AE dispose de deux entrées ADAT et de deux sorties ADAT. Vous pouvez les utiliser, par exemple, pour doubler la fréquence d'échantillonnage à l'aide du système SMUX. Vous obtenez ainsi 8x8 canaux ADAT à une fréquence d'échantillonnage de 96 KHz ou 4x4 canaux ADAT à une fréquence d'échantillonnage allant jusqu'à 192 KHz. Grâce à ses capacités de routage étendues, vous pouvez utiliser le Pulse 8 AE comme un patchbay numérique, idéal pour intégrer de manière flexible votre équipement analogique externe dans votre DAW. Vous pouvez configurer le routage sur l'écran couleur haute résolution ou via usb avec l'application de bureau pratique.

Great product. Does what it does, super low noise ADAT expanding. Nice and small, the screen has good readability. Only downside for me: Navigating the menu could have been better, since there are no “forward-back” or “left-right” buttons, when you want to change the gain of for example input 3, and you are on 4 (often when working with stereo), you have to cycle all the way to input 8, to 1, and back to 3.
