Fender Pure Vintage 'Blue' Amp Capacitor .022uF @ 600V MTW
Fender Pure Vintage Blue Amp Capacitor .022uF @ 600V MTW
Fender Pure Vintage Blue Cap (early '60s replica Blue Ajax)
In the early '60s, Fender started using the Blue Ajax capacitors in amplifiers. It soon turned out to be a huge success. By 1962, all Yellow caps were replaced by the Blue Ajax caps. These capacitors are made of Mylar, aluminium foil and wax and produce a genuinely bluesy sound. If you want your amplifier to produce clear trebles, warm mids and deep, clean bass tones, then this Pure Vintage Blue Cap is the one for you!
Fender Pure Vintage Amplifier Capacitors
Fender amps from the '50s and '60s are still immensely popular, not because of their design per se, but because of their distinctive sound. The electronics inside these amps are a great contributing factor to that exceptional tone. Whether purposely or not, the capacitors that were used at the time are largely responsible for the familiar Fender sound of the fifties and sixties. Until recently, these capacitors were no longer made - although other manufacturers have tried to imitate them on more then one occasion. Now, over fifty years later, you can once again purchase the original capacitors! The perfect replacement part to repair or modify vintage amplifiers. Can of course also be used to build a new amplifier. Select one or several capacitor types for your ideal personal sound.
Remarques et conseils sur ce produit
- Never replace the capacitor with a lower-voltage model, as this may cause trouble. Using a capacitor with a higher voltage is possible in many cases, however.
