Informations
With the GFR20GSP-BKF, the Ibanez FR has made its debut in the Gio series. While the Gio series consists of more affordable guitars, that doesn't mean they're cheap knockoffs. The materials, pickups and hardware used to create them are very durable, and the Gio guitars are all thoroughly inspected before leaving the factory. Have you always been crazy about TE-style guitars, but felt the pickups lacked punch? Then the Ibanez GFR20GSP in Black Flat is the answer.
Ibanez GFR20GSP-BKF: construction
With its lightweight poplar body, this guitar offers a beautifully bright sound. Its maple neck is fitted with a 22-fret rosewood fretboard, which gives it some great warm overtones. While the body-shape is clearly inspired by the legendary TE-model, Ibanez is clearly aiming for the louder genres with this guitar - evident from the two feisty Ibanez Classic Elite humbuckers. Of course, the finish is impeccable and the hardware lives up to Ibanez's high standards.
Ibanez Gio
Ibanez's Gios have been a great choice for guitarists who want a good guitar at an affordable price. Without exception, these guitars are at the top of their segment. They don't just look great, they sound amazing as well. An important fact is that the affordable Gios are subjected to an inspection that is just as strict as the more expensive Ibanez guitars. All in all, they're guitars that you'll have plenty of fun with for years to come, regardless of whether you're a beginner or a seasoned stage veteran.
