The Blackmagic Design DeckLink Miini Recorder PCIe capture card comes equipped with SDI as well as HDMI inputs for recording uncompressed 10-bit video from a camera directly to your computer. With this card, you can capture live recordings in real-time or during playback, and since the inputs are always active, they are functional as soon as you plug in. The DeckLink Mini Recorder automatically switches between SD and HD, effortlessly supporting all common video formats. The beauty of this card is that it does away with the need for compression, since the only compression that happens is when the material is on its way to your computer where it's converted into an edit-ready codec. So you're essentially working with the highest video quality possible, simply because there is no loss.
