Someone like Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, who made 'Over the Rainbow' into a huge hit, could be seen as a great ambassador for the ukulele. The Belgian company Stagg offers a complete family of ukuleles for anyone who has been inspired by such musicians to pick up the uke. One of the models they offer is the US60-S, which is a beautiful, light ukulele made from a variety of woods including spruce and mahogany. The instrument comes complete with a black nylon carry case.

About the ukulele

The Hawaiians have given the instrument the moniker 'jumping flea', not a very charming name for an instrument that is so much fun to play.
