Wat betreft bouw en netheid van afwerking verdient deze kleine ukulele een pluspunt. Het spelen op een sopraan is even wennen. Dat ligt niet aan het muziekinstrument maar aan mijn vaardigheden. Overigens laat duidelijk zijn dat het een echt muziekinstrument is. Het is geen speelgoed. In samenklank met de concert en tenor is het een mooie heldere aanvulling. Het voegt wat toe. Wij zijn er blij mee. Het geluid is helder en maakt vrolijk.

Mooi instrumentje, vlekkeloos afgewerkte body en prima stemmechaniek (blijk zelf toch meer van indirect stemmechaniek, maar dat is smaak), eenmaal gestemd blijft ie goed op stemming. Het verbaasd hoeveel geluid er uit zo'n klein instrumentje komt: echt wel luid. In mijn geval, dus waarschijnlijk incidenteel geval, heeft toets kleine oneffenheid in hout waardoor tijdens het spelen mijn oog er precies opvalt. Doet het iets af aan de klankt: dat is super (helder, krachtig, mooi in balans). Maar voor de brutoprijs die in eerste instantie gevraagd wordt, kan dat eigenlijk niet vindt ik, en zou ik 4 sterren geven. Voor 96,- euro is dit een erg mooi instrument en dan zeker 5 sterren waard.
