Ibanez has been making semi-acoustic guitars for decades, continually innovating their products, and the Arctore Expressionist series opens up a new chapter. Jazz fans will immediately recognise the classic sound of the Super 58 humbuckers, used by greats like George Benson, Pat Metheny and John Scofield. The warm tones are perfect for jazz, but that's not all. Funk guitarist Eric Krasno has more than proved the versatility of these pickups. This is the left-handed version of the AM93. This model is a strictly limited edition, so if you want one don't wait too long.
AM93L: chic looks
Whilst the AM93L is very keenly priced, no compromise has been made on the parts used. The front and back are made of quilted maple, finished in a stylish Antique Yellow Sunburst. The rosewood fretboard contrasts perfectly with the body and adds a touch of warmth to the tone. Gold-plated hardware and pickups are some of the little details that help to make this model stand out from the crowd. Looks are nothing of course without good tuning stability. Fortunately, the AM93L excels in this area, with it's ART-1 bridge with Quik Change tailpiece, which also provides great sustain.
Optimal playing pleasure
The neck and fretboard are specifically designed for comfort and playing pleasure. The medium frets and familiar 12-inch radius ensure you will feel right at home. With a width of 43mm, the top nut provides enough space between the strings to make complex chords and difficult riffs easier to play. The Ibanez AM93L is a real workhorse that won't let you down. You would be hard pushed to find a better jazz guitar for this price, especially a Limited Edition model from Ibanez.
